Dating violence is a big problem facing today’s population of young adults.
Abuse may include insults, coercion, social sabotage, sexual harassment, stalking, threats and/or acts of physical or sexual abuse.
The abusive partner uses this pattern of violent and coercive behavior to gain power and maintain control over the dating partner.
Now, I’m not saying this is the only way to have a successful relationship. You’re going to need to forgive and ask for forgiveness.
However, in my life, it’s proved to be pretty on point. It’s also important to view the other person as their own person, and as a child of God, not just someone who is there to make you happy and fulfill your needs.
